Tab joined Gateway Title in 2013. He is a licensed attorney with the State of Tennessee, and his primary responsibilities include handling day-to-day operations, reviewing title work and providing curative work related to a wide array of legal issues.

Born and raised on a farm in east Tennessee, Tab first moved to Murfreesboro in 2002 to study communications and political science at Middle Tennessee State University. He also holds a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Memphis and a Law Degree from the Nashville School of Law.

Tab, his wife Layne, who is a Principal at Eastside Elementary in Shelbyville, and their twins, Knox and Delaney, live in the Christiana Community and are members of St. Marks United Methodist Church. Tab currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties and Main Street Murfreesboro.
